Come on out and support the young writers in our community! We’re featuring young writers from Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, with open mic slots for youth drop-ins to share up to 5 minutes (timed) of their original writing. Open to all experience levels!
Drop the Mic is where writers remind us of who we are and who we are meant to be. It’s where readings become experiences. It’s where the unexpected word becomes just the right word. It’s where we gather and learn and grow. Thank you to our Season 2018 partner and venue Matthew 25.
